Emma Watson and Alberta Ferretti Eco Collection

Emma Watson is certainly doing her bit to promote her ethical side with her recent collaboration with People Tree and more recently launching an eco-friendly capsule collection with Alberta Ferretti. The collection, Pure Threads, is comprised of only 5 pieces: 2 dresses, a shirt, a long skirt and some denim shorts- they are all simple pieces with Alberta Ferretti's trademark lace trim throughout...

Here in Notts the weather has been gorrrrgeous over the last few days! I love it becuase it just seems to put everyone in a better mood! On the downside I have seen some questionable outfits around uni recently- even with a bit of sunshine this is still only Nottingham- not Jersey Shore.. Anyway in terms of spring clothing I love the orange/coral trend at the minute especially lipstick. It's not something I could really pull of but Vanessa Hudgens was looking perfectly "spring-y" with coral lips and tousled hair at the premiere of Sucker Punch last night...

RIP Elizabeth Taylor

Today I heard about Elizabeth Taylor's death at the age of 79. She was a classic beauty with class as well. Today she's best known for her fragrances, some that still rank highly within the top selling mass market perfumes... which I'm sure will live on for years after shes gone. This has got me thinking of who has this sort of impact on the industry these days..?

Blake Lively for Chanel

I love Blake Lively's new ad for chanel- she looks beautiful whilst perfectly showcasing the bag itself.. I think they chose the perfect girl as she is classy and young WITHOUT a bad reputation. Luckiest girl...

Kate Moss for Louis Vuitton

I was very impressed by the whole collection Louis Vuitton showed in Paris on Wednesday, it didn't seem as predictable as usual. I was also impressed by Kate Moss walking for them with a cigarette in one hand..

Colette & Chanel

One of the coolest stores in Paris teaming up with one of the most iconic, classic brands in fashion.. at first I wasn't sure on the new pop-up shop in Paris lasting from the 1st -10th March but on closer inspection I would love to pay it a visit! Its all set in an industrial former garage spanning 200m2 with giveaways and DJ's as well as artist's such as Kevin Lyons, Soledad, André, Fafi and SO-ME customising classic Chanel bags. I waaant one!

Tim Walker in Italian Vogue

Tim Walker photography is not something that I know much about, but I feel in love when I saw these eerie pictures from March's Italian Vogue. Despite it being the season of bright colours in our gardens and on the catwalk Tim Walker has managed to create a series of dark pictures in an old mansion, here are my favourites:

Effortlessly Cool

Is surely the only way to describe actress, model and singer/songwriter Zooey Deschanel?! She's so simply beautiful and definately has the vintage thing going on! I literally have no idea why shes isn't equally if not more famous than Alexa Chung- she is as cool as and more modest. She is on the cover of Lucky magazine April 2011 wearing a cute Marc Jacobs dress.

Oh and I just love this picture of her. It seems all summery:)

Tali Lennox

Definately one-to-watch I think- the infamous Annie Lennox's daughter, who, until she appeared in Burberry's Spring ad's I knew nothing about. Luckily she is someone who looks like she could actually be a model rather than just doing it because of her famous mother! Good on Burberry for snapping her up quickly!

Kelly Cutrone: Style Icon

Nope I don't think so either- but apparently she is teaming up with her People's Revolution partners Robyn Berkley and Chris Butch to create an "affordable and fun" sportswear range called The Electric Love Army... we'll see....

Rihanna for Nivias 100th Birthday

Yep Rihanna has stripped off to celebrate Nivias 100th birthday. Personally I really dont understand why as Nivia is a brand I picture as quite "pure" and "shy" and those certainly are terms I'd use to describe Rihanna...

Seneca Rising

Seneca Rising is designed by Andi Ballard who creates clothes that are meant to be worn loose and layered the website describes them as "perfectly worn in" which is a perfect description- it's like grunge is back- with a more fashionable twist!

I want hair like this!

Oh dear John:(

What a shame such an amazing designer got caught after a drink. All I can say is good luck to his PR- it won't be easy coming back from this:

Monki Ad

I love this new advertising campaign by Monki I think its a really interesting was of editing the pictures so the clothes are clearly shown but the models seem to be shown mid-air in some images. I think its edgy and different without being too serious.

I Love Love Love...

I love love love everything about the photos of Amanda Seyfried (although I really dont like her) for Interview. Everything about them is just.. right. Shes wearing Valentino, Dolce & Gabanna and Alberta Ferretti. Gorgeous.
